Science Beeches!

So, new discovery! Scientist in University of California Irvin have discovered a method to unboil egg! Who would have imagine seriously? Unboiling an egg O.o If you're interested here's the link to read it

Obviously it takes chemicals and a huge ass research lab to do the process, but if it is possible who's to say other science are not possible as well? For all you may know we all might one day be able to control electronics such as the concept from Lucy.

Speaking about movies, I went to watched Into the Woods with my friends Nanisha today. Well I'm a sucker for musicals so I really loved it a lot, especially the songs.

Story line: 6/10 (disney ya know, predictable)
Songs: 8/10
Acting: 9/10

Can't imagine how many musicals I have watched. I remembered vividly that the first musical I watched was Cats and I hated it. However, after watching Hair Spray and Phantom of the Opera movie I started falling in love with musicals again.

Best musical for me? I would say Wicked. Defying gravity is an extremely difficult song and I admire singers who are able to sing it.

It's a woof woof day

Nothing much happening today. Drove to Kepong to pick up the Ms.Alicia whom I so adore

Went over to Melissa's house to play with her two cute schnauzers (Tesa and Sora).

They're so playful and cute!!!

Mel took us to eat Kelantan food at Aman Suria. It's actually quite good -well considering I have never had Kelantan food before.

BYE BYE Tera and Sora! :')

So this is it...

Hello readers, as I'm writing this I am officially saying goodbye to Melbourne. The city which I grew to love for the passed four years (What!? FOUR YEARS!?) and gave me so many meaningful memories. No more tears, I had too much of them last night. I'm mastering my courage and putting away the tears for this post because isn't it shit to read about depressing post?

As I was saying, if any of you have never been to Melbourne you should go for a visit. Coffee and brunch places are amazing and delicious here. People are so jubilant and friendly as well especially the old folks. However, the weather can be a bitch from time to time.

Nothing in this world worth having comes easy

Into my last day in Melbourne, obviously have to spend some quality time with the boyfie. (Idiot be leaving me alone in Malaysia T_T). Just kidding. Ya I know Long distance isn't going to be all cheers and happiness, but I am willing to go through with it for this guy.

We had lunch at Fobrolls in CBD and my god, those are down to earth the best ba'get I have ever eaten in Melbourne. Perhaps I didn't travel further to try others? I don't know but I am well contented with my discovering of the little ba'get shop tucked away inside a small shop lot along Bourke Street. In addition, who to not discover it other than with baby? We went for coffee at Dukes' Coffee Roaster which is one of my favorite coffee shop since their mocha is concentrated.

Eye swollen from crying, but hey put on a smile and everything's fine

A little cheatsy day with carrot cake. Don't judge!

I'm determine to make this work. No matter how big the struggle is, enough of finding cause I'm very sure I found the right one here and I ain't letting him go.

How am I doing?

Few more days until I officially part ways with Melbourne. I can't imagine how many ups and downs I've been throughout the whole time when I was in Melbourne.

Today was quite an exciting day since baby had his day off. We started the day with Liar Liar cafe at Glenferrie. It was amazing. Kinda woke up pretty late for it by only arriving at the venue at 2.30p.m. Food and coffee was amazing though. It was a bit pricey but i didn't mind at all.

Well, I'm sorry you can't see the dish properly. But it's quinoa salad with salmon

We reached back the apartment roughly 4.30p.m, we mainly I complained about the hot and humid weather. Seriously, I think Melbourne is preparing me for Malaysia's weather. It's becoming hot and sweaty every single damn day. We stayed in and game until around 8p.m. (Yes I do game but only League of Legends and Aura Kingdom these days).

Here comes the fun part, we went to two places for our dinner.

First stop was the delicious fried flavored chicken with my favorite spicy seafood soup at Gami.

The next stop was our favorite rice wine at Joomak which we ordered peach flavor and had DMC???? So much win! Yummy.

Foodie

Last night, baby and I went to have a wonderful Korean food (Changgo). If you were a student in Melbourne you most probably would have heard of this dodgy but amazing place. We ordered 8 flavor pork belly dish. It's a must have in their restaurant honestly, you'll be missing out if you don't order this. It cost $58.80 in total, so be sure you're a big eater!

Into 9 more days before I leave Melbourne. I decided to return to my old time favorite cafe in Melbourne. It was named Dukes Coffee Roasters in Pharan before it became Journeyman. The coffee is downright the best to me in Melbourne because I love my coffee with strong flavors.

Food cannot be left out either. Baby ordered a Finger fish burger while I had the avocado hummus toast. It was so yums.

The fish was fried to perfection with generous condiments in the burger.

My toast was drizzled with adequate amount of dukkah and avocado on a large sourdough toast. The bacon was stir fried in cube size glazed with honey. SO MUCH WIN!

Today I learned how to make Scones from baby as well. Man, baking life is tough since you can't modify your ingredient before it has been baked.

The recipe contains:
150g unsalted butter
500g self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp caster sugar
2 eggs
80 ml milk
pinch of salt

 1) Preheat oven to about 180°C
2) Mixed all the dry ingredients together
3) mixed the eggs and milk together in a bowl. Be careful not to add too much milk
4) Add frozen butter into the dry ingredients. Mix it by pinching it lightly.
5) Add the egg and milk mixture into the bowl.
6) Wrap the dough into baking paper and set to rest in the frige for about 10-15 minutes until chilled.
8) Shaped the scones. Take note of the size because it matters.
7) Baked the scones in the oven for about 16-18 min or until golden brown.

Reincarnation

I am utterly bored and just trying to get through day by day now with gaming and outing with friends. Work starts on 2nd Feb so I'm just trying to relax right now.

On a side note, Harresh and I debated on whether or not to finish 3/4 of a delicious blueberry pie. His three reasons to consider before giving a meal to someone is:

1) How good is it
2) How big is the portion
3) Will anyone find out if you finish it

Quite insightful rules I thought.

My dilemma for the current time.
